A calendar is an organised table
A calendar places dates in rows called weeks. The columns name weekdays. Each row on this calendar starts on Monday.
Find a date number, then look up its column to read the weekday. The title tells which month and year it belongs to.

Days repeat, dates change
Weekdays repeat in the same order. In one weekday column, the next date down is 7 days later.
A blank cell is not a date in this month. Say a full date, such as Thursday 18 June 2026, so another person knows exactly which day you mean.
A common trap
A date number always has the same weekday.
Instead: Read the correct calendar. The 18th is not always a Thursday.
